Steps to use the AED*
Call 911: Immediately call emergency services.
Call 911: Immediately call emergency services.
Check for Responsiveness: Shake the person's shoulders and ask loudly, "Are you okay?"
Start CPR: If the person is unresponsive, begin CPR.
Locate AED: In the Bocce Kitchen - Pull handle an alarm will sound and flashing red light.
Turn On: Turn on the AED and follow its voice prompts.
Apply Pads: Place the AED pads on the person's chest, as instructed by the device.
Follow Prompts: Follow the AED's instructions carefully, including any necessary shocks.
Continue CPR: Continue CPR until emergency responders arrive.
